NCT ID NCT06141798
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether starting dialysis twice a week instead of the usual three times a week can reduce hospital stays and improve quality of life for older adults (60+) with kidney failure who still produce some urine. The researchers will follow 428 participants for up to two years, tracking hospitalizations, complications, and overall well-being. The goal is to find a safer, more comfortable dialysis routine for elderly patients.
