Summary
This study will enroll about 2,920 adults with type 2 diabetes to create an early warning system for diabetic retinopathy, an eye complication that can lead to blindness. Researchers will combine eye images, routine health tests, and metabolism markers to better predict who is at risk and tailor treatment. The goal is to improve monitoring and management of the disease at every stage.
