New study aims to catch diabetic eye disease earlier with advanced testing

Summary
This study will test a new way to detect and manage diabetic retinopathy, an eye problem caused by type 2 diabetes. About 2,920 adults will have their eyes checked and give blood samples to help create better models for early warning and treatment. The goal is to prevent vision loss by catching the disease earlier and personalizing care.
