Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of the DEXTER robotic system for performing hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) along with surgery on the ovaries or fallopian tubes. It involved 52 adult patients with non-cancerous conditions. The main goals were to see if the robotic procedure could be completed without switching to traditional surgery and to track any serious complications.
