Summary
This study looked at whether a medicine called dexmedetomidine can keep blood pressure and heart rate stable when a breathing tube is placed in people with controlled high blood pressure. 70 adults having planned surgery under general anesthesia took part. The goal was to see if the drug reduces stress on the heart during this procedure.
