Summary

This study looked at whether giving dexamethasone during surgery can make a nerve block last longer in children having ankle or foot surgery. 90 children took part. The goal was to see if it delays the first time they need strong pain medicine and reduces overall pain. The approach is simple: add a common steroid to standard care.
