First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 21, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study will test a vision screening program for adults over 70 with chronic conditions in Danish general practices. Researchers want to see if it's feasible and acceptable to screen for vision problems like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Participants will have vision tests at their GP and an optician, with results reviewed by an ophthalmologist. The goal is to catch vision loss early and refer patients for timely care.
