Summary
This study tested two ways of training long-term care workers in Minnesota to provide better care for LGBTQ+ residents with Alzheimer's or dementia. Over 760 staff members took part in either in-person or online training. The goal was to see if the training improved staff knowledge, skills, and the care environment for LGBTQ+ residents.
