Summary
This study tests whether dapagliflozin, a drug already used for diabetes, can help people with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis (a type of inflammatory bowel disease). The goal is to see if it reduces inflammation and improves symptoms like diarrhea and abdominal pain. About 50 adults will take the drug and be monitored for changes in their disease activity.
