Summary
This study tests whether cyclophosphamide, a drug that calms the immune system, can improve insulin use and blood sugar control in people with a rare condition that combines type 1 diabetes with painful fat inflammation and loss. Ten participants will receive the treatment, and researchers will measure their daily insulin needs. The goal is to manage the disease, not cure it.
