First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests if whole-body cryotherapy (extreme cold) can reduce joint pain caused by aromatase inhibitors, a common hormone therapy for breast cancer. About 70 women with breast cancer who have joint pain from their medication will receive either real or placebo cryotherapy sessions. The goal is to see if the cold treatment provides pain relief and improves quality of life.
