Heart failure device study aims to boost response rates

Summary
This study tests whether placing the left ventricle lead of a cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) device at the area of latest electrical activation improves outcomes for people with heart failure. About 1000 participants with heart failure and a widened QRS on ECG are being studied. The goal is to reduce death or unplanned hospital stays for heart failure.
