First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using a CPAP machine during sleep can reduce episodes of atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm) in people who also have obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers measured changes in heart rhythm, heart size, quality of life, and hospital visits in 25 adults. The goal was to see if treating sleep apnea helps control the heart condition.
