NCT ID NCT04740658
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study examined over 12,000 nursing home residents to see how well COVID-19 prevention measures (like restricting visitors and isolating sick residents) worked. Researchers wanted to know if these measures reduced deaths from COVID-19 but also if they might have increased deaths from other causes due to isolation. The goal was to understand the overall impact of these organizational steps during and after the outbreak.
