Pandemic disrupted MS care: study reveals impact on relapse management
NCT ID NCT04858763
Summary
This study looked back at how the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic affected the care of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) when they had a relapse. Researchers compared 51 patients who had a relapse in spring 2020 to a similar group from spring 2019. The goal was to see if the pandemic changed how often relapses were reported and how they were treated.
