First seen Nov 25, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding core muscle exercises (like Pilates) to standard cardiac rehab helps people with heart failure or a recent heart attack recover better. Sixty adults will be split into three groups: core training only, aerobic exercise only, or both combined. The goal is to see which approach is safest and most effective for improving fitness, balance, and quality of life.
