Could breathing 'Thin Air' during rest make exercise easier for COPD patients?

NCT ID NCT07072975

Summary

This study is testing if breathing air with slightly less oxygen during rest periods between exercise makes physical activity feel easier for people with COPD. Researchers want to see if this approach reduces feelings of breathlessness and improves sleep. The study will involve 50 adults with moderate COPD who will perform cycling exercises on separate days under different recovery conditions.
