First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether breathing air with less oxygen during short rest periods between exercise sessions helps people with COPD feel less tired and breathe easier. Fifty adults with moderate COPD will do four short cycling bouts on separate days, resting in either normal or low-oxygen air. Researchers will measure how hard the exercise feels, heart and lung responses, and sleep quality.
