First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study compares two types of talk therapy for teenagers with eating disorders: family-based treatment and enhanced cognitive behavior therapy. The goal is to see if one works as well as the other in reducing eating disorder symptoms. About 200 teens who are medically stable and live with a parent will take part. The results will help doctors choose the best treatment option.
