NCT ID NCT05382702

First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at how fear, feelings of fullness, and gut hormones cause stomach distress in people with eating disorders. 133 women with eating disorders ate a test meal while researchers measured their fear, stomach pain, and hormone levels. The goal was to better understand what keeps eating disorders going, not to test a treatment.
