New drug combo aims to control tough lung cancer

Summary

This study tests a new drug (aurora kinase inhibitor) combined with a standard targeted therapy (osimertinib) for people with advanced EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the combination can better control tumor growth. About 32 adults with advanced or metastatic disease will participate.
