Brain games for stroke recovery: can computer training boost daily thinking skills?
NCT ID NCT05162781
Summary
This study is testing two different rehabilitation programs for adults who have had a stroke and are experiencing ongoing mild to moderate thinking problems. Both programs include a web-based computer game designed to improve how quickly people process information. One program adds specific training on everyday tasks and techniques to apply improvements to daily life, while the other adds education on healthy lifestyle habits. The goal is to see which approach better helps people perform cognitive tasks in their everyday lives after a stroke.
