First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested whether an experimental drug called SXC-2023 changes how the body reacts to cocaine. Nineteen adults who use cocaine but were not seeking treatment took part. Researchers measured safety, heart rate, and blood pressure after giving cocaine to those who had taken the drug or a placebo. The goal was to see if SXC-2023 could reduce cocaine's effects or cause harm.
