New coaching program helps dementia caregivers master tough behaviors

Summary
This study tests a 12-week coaching program called CuRB-IT for family caregivers of people with dementia. The goal is to help caregivers manage care-resistant behaviors (like refusing help) and improve their own coping skills. 266 caregivers will be randomly assigned to start the program right away or after a delay. The study tracks changes in behavior frequency and caregiver responses over several months.
