New coaching program helps dementia caregivers tackle tough behaviors

Summary

This study tests a 12-week coaching program called CuRB-IT for family caregivers of people with dementia. 266 caregivers are randomly assigned to start the program right away or after a delay. The goal is to see if the program reduces care-resistant behaviors and helps caregivers feel more confident and less stressed.
