First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving an antimicrobial treatment to children recovering from severe acute malnutrition can reduce their risk of death, re-hospitalization, or failure to regain healthy weight. About 674 children aged 6-59 months who are hospitalized with complicated malnutrition will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this approach works better than standard care alone.
