Summary

This study tests whether giving an extra antimicrobial medicine to children recovering from complicated severe acute malnutrition can prevent death, hospital readmission, or poor nutritional recovery. About 674 children aged 6-59 months will be enrolled. The goal is to reduce the high risk of infections and improve long-term outcomes after they leave the hospital.
