Scientists probe Parkinson's Drug's hidden immune side effects

NCT ID NCT06634641

Summary

This study aims to understand how the drug clozapine, used to treat psychosis in Parkinson's disease, affects the body's immune system over time. Researchers will follow 24 Parkinson's patients for a year, measuring their immune cell and antibody levels. The goal is to gather information on potential long-term immune system changes, not to test a new treatment.
