Faith and fitness: can a church program help black men fight heart disease?

Summary
This study is testing a 24-week health program held at a church to see if it helps Black men at risk for heart disease and diabetes improve their health. Participants will attend weekly sessions with exercise and health education, and get support from a community health worker. Researchers will measure changes in blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and other health habits to see if the program works and can be used in other communities.
