Summary
This study looked at whether a type of talk therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain (CBT-CP) works for veterans who also have a serious mental illness like schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. 47 veterans took part to see if the therapy was helpful and practical. The goal was to improve pain management and understand how pain and mental health affect each other.
