Summary
This study tested a new, faster care pathway for people with chronic constipation at a gastroenterology clinic. Researchers wanted to see how often patients received recommended tests and pelvic floor therapy, and how satisfied they were with their care. 109 adults with chronic constipation took part, and the study focused on improving the process of getting the right diagnosis and treatment.
