Summary
This study tested a new, faster care pathway for people with chronic constipation at the University of Michigan. Researchers wanted to see if using this specific plan made doctors more likely to order the recommended tests and physical therapy. They tracked 109 patients to measure how often these steps were followed and how satisfied patients were with their care.
