First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether showing hospital patients a short educational video improves how well they follow chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) bathing instructions. CHG baths help prevent serious bloodstream infections from central lines. About 1000 adults took part. The goal was to see if the video increases proper bathing and reduces infection rates.
