First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether showing hospitalized patients a short educational video improves their use of special antibacterial (CHG) wipes, which help prevent serious bloodstream infections from central lines. About 1000 adults took part. The goal was to see if the video helps more patients follow the bathing instructions correctly compared to standard written and verbal guidance.
