New chemo strategy aims to stop deadly sarcoma spread

Summary

This study is testing whether adding chemotherapy before and after surgery helps prevent cancer from spreading in patients with high-risk soft tissue sarcoma. It will compare standard surgery and radiation to that same treatment plus four cycles of chemotherapy drugs. The goal is to see if the extra chemotherapy helps patients live longer without their cancer spreading to other parts of the body.
