Summary

This large study is testing if adding chemotherapy before and after surgery helps prevent the cancer from spreading in patients with a high-risk type of soft tissue sarcoma. It will compare standard surgery and radiation to that same treatment plus 12 weeks of chemotherapy. The goal is to see if the extra treatment improves how long patients live without their cancer spreading to other parts of the body.
