Your blood, your healer: new gel promises faster wisdom tooth recovery
NCT ID NCT07520097
First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a gel made from a patient's own blood (Concentrated Growth Factor, or CGF) can improve bone healing and reduce pain after removing an impacted lower wisdom tooth. Ten adults will receive the gel placed into the extraction socket right after surgery. Pain is tracked for a week, and a 3D scan checks bone density three months later.
