Blood gel promises faster healing for wisdom tooth surgery
NCT ID NCT07520097
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a gel made from a patient's own blood, called Concentrated Growth Factor (CGF), can improve bone healing and reduce pain after removing an impacted lower wisdom tooth. Ten adults will receive the gel right after surgery and report pain levels for a week. A 3D scan three months later will check bone density. Because everyone gets the gel, there is no comparison group.
