Summary
This study tested whether counseling can help people living with HIV in Zambia reduce unhealthy alcohol use and improve their HIV control. About 680 adults were split into three groups: a brief counseling session, brief counseling plus more in-depth therapy, or standard care. The main goal was to see if these approaches helped more people achieve undetectable HIV levels after six months.
