First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether levels of cell-free DNA (tiny DNA fragments) in blood and follicular fluid are higher in women with endometriosis who are doing IVF, compared to women with other causes of infertility. Researchers measured these DNA levels and checked if they were linked to egg quality, embryo development, and pregnancy results. The goal was to better understand how endometriosis affects fertility at a cellular level.
