Can DNA in blood predict IVF success for endometriosis patients?

NCT ID NCT05815134

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at whether levels of cell free DNA (tiny DNA fragments) in blood and fluid around eggs are higher in women with endometriosis who are doing IVF. Researchers compared 114 women with and without endometriosis to see if these DNA levels relate to egg quality and pregnancy results. The goal was to better understand how endometriosis affects fertility, not to test a new treatment.
