First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a new way to match dementia caregivers with each other for emotional support using a computer algorithm. Researchers want to see if matching based on personal preferences leads to better satisfaction and less stress than random matching. About 355 caregivers of people with Alzheimer's or other dementias will take part. The goal is to improve caregiver well-being and quality of life.
