Summary
This study tested a specially designed spectacle lens (CARE1.02) to see if it could slow the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in teenagers compared to regular single-vision glasses. The trial involved 796 adolescents aged 12 to 17 in Guangzhou, China. The main goal was to measure changes in eye prescription and eye length after one year of wearing the lenses.
