First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study uses special MRI scans to see how the heart's structure and energy use change after bariatric surgery or cardiac rehab. Researchers will scan 150 adults before and 6-12 months after these treatments. The goal is to understand how these metabolic interventions affect heart health, which could lead to better, personalized care for people with heart disease or obesity.
