Engineered immune cells take on childhood brain cancer

Summary
This early-phase study tests a new treatment for children whose brain tumors have returned or not responded to standard care. The treatment uses the child's own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to better recognize and attack tumor cells. These cells are given along with chemotherapy to see if the combination is safe and can help control the cancer.
