Scientists build a 'Library' of cancer samples to crack the code of tumor growth
NCT ID NCT03017573
Summary
This study aims to collect and store tumor tissue and blood samples from patients with several types of cancer. The goal is to create a biobank, or a library of samples, to help researchers better understand how cancer cells, their surrounding environment, and the body's immune system interact. All participants will receive standard cancer treatments for their condition, and the samples will be used to search for new biological markers that could guide future therapies.
