Brain-Zapping headband tested to sharpen focus in virtual reality
NCT ID NCT06782360
First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a headband that reads brain signals and a device that gently stimulates the ear could help healthy adults stay focused and less dizzy during virtual reality tasks. 45 volunteers did attention and motion-sickness tests in VR while some received real stimulation and others got a fake version. The goal was to see if the technology could measure and improve cognitive performance, not to treat any disease.
