First seen Apr 17, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether a headband that reads brain signals and applies mild electrical pulses to the ear can help healthy adults stay focused and avoid motion sickness in virtual reality. 45 volunteers completed attention and VR tasks while wearing the device. Researchers compared those who got real stimulation to those who got a sham (fake) version to see if it improved performance.
