Breathe away heart risk? new device tested after heart attacks

NCT ID NCT04521699

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using a handheld stress management device called CalmiGo, along with usual cardiac rehab, can improve blood vessel health and lower stress in people who recently had a heart attack. About 100 adults will use the device for 12 weeks and have their blood vessels, stress levels, and quality of life measured. The goal is to see if adding this simple tool helps recovery more than standard care alone.
