First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether placing cabbage leaves on the knee can help reduce pain and improve movement and quality of life in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 90 adults with knee pain will be split into three groups: two groups will use cabbage leaves (one at room temperature, one prepared traditionally) for 2 hours daily over 4 weeks, and one group will receive usual care only. Researchers will measure changes in pain, physical function, and quality of life at 1 and 4 weeks.
