First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study is testing a live attenuated dengue vaccine (Butantan-DV) in people aged 12–59 with autoimmune rheumatic diseases like rheumatoid arthritis or lupus, who are stable and on low or no immune-suppressing drugs. Researchers want to see if the vaccine is safe and triggers a strong immune response compared to healthy volunteers. Participants receive one shot and are followed for a year with blood tests and symptom diaries.
